What is the Annual Convention?


Fostering an appreciation for Gospel Music.
Developing the spiritual growth of our membership.


The National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses annual convention is a week-long convention held in a different city each year. The sessions have been held every year since 1933. The week’s events consist of daily classes and workshops, plenary sessions featuring world renowned musical artists and guest speakers, nightly concerts and a host of other activities for anyone who desires to better themselves as a Christian singer, instrumentalist, educator, or leader in the area of Gospel music.


The 86th Session of the annual convention will convene in Detroit, MI from Saturday, August 3rd to Friday, August 9th, 2019.

RATE
Standard Room: $129 per night
Plus Taxes: $138.45 per night

*NOTE: The following charges will be held at check-in for incidental room charges:

Payment w/ Credit Card: $25 authorization
Payment w/ Debit Card: $25 authorization/per day. The maximum authorization is $125
Cash Payment: $50.00 per day for 3 days/ maximum $150.00.

CANCELLATION POLICY
72 hours prior to check-in time to prevent a cancellation fee.

Vendor Opportunities

Reserve your space now! Vendor opportunities are available! Vending space is available for the 86th Annual Convention. The cost is $400 per vendor booth and $125 per electrical drop. A minimum deposit of $200 is required to secure a booth space. Priority of booth location will be assigned on a first, pay-in-full basis. Full payment provides a piped and draped booth (size 10X10) with a 6 foot table, 2 chairs, and a trash can.
